Service Coordinator
Position Summary:
The Service Coordinator at Corvus Energy plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient field service operations by supporting the Regional Service Manager and Field Service Engineers. This position is essential for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by managing service requests and coordinating activities related to maintaining a successful customer service operation. This role will also administratively support the North American Customer Projects team.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the scheduling of Field Service Engineers by working closely with the team and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of service, commissioning and on-site re-work assignments.
- Facilitate international Visa applications, when required.
- In coordination with the spare parts and supply chain departments, facilitate spare parts orders from the quote process to shipping.
- Facilitate the shipping of parts and equipment for field service.
- Coordinate the return of equipment from the customer site to the Richmond warehouse.
- Manage the service team’s tool & equipment inventory, ensuring required calibration is performed on schedule
- Create customer invoices for both the Service and Projects departments (parts, labour, travel expenses, etc.) and ensure timely delivery to the customer.
- Ensure technical documentation is up to date per latest Engineering Change Order(s) (“ECO”)
- Work closely with the Regional Services Manager, Americas to ensure customer RFQs are responded to in a timely manner.
- Administration of job safety checklists.
- In close coordination with the Regional Services Manager, Americas, administer all service department jobs/contracts from quotes to PO’s to delivery.
- Daily timesheet administration.
- Administration of process improvement initiatives (project resource planning, lessons learnt, etc.).
- Generation of departmental reports including KPIs, personnel utilization, budgets, etc.
Education and Work Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Business or Administration. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical work experience in administration and/or customer service, preferably in the maritime industry.
Functional Skills:
- Strong listening and communication skills to understand customer needs and concerns fully and to respond with appropriate solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, particularly when handling complex situations with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage change and determine service delivery alternatives to ensure an efficient use of resources.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think quickly and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Professional English skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with ERP systems and digitalized document management
- Experience with process development
- Experience with planning/scheduling tools
- Experience in the maritime industry is an asset.
- Interest in clean energy technologies is an asset.

Salary Range: $67,000 to $78,000 CDN per annum
